Walen Monroe Teems

Walen Monroe Teems, age 77, passed away at his home Sunday, February 9, 2025.

Walen started his career as an electrician and advanced to superintendent for Bechtel Construction Company, working his way throughout the country in various locations. He retired from his electrical career at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. He enjoyed hunting with his dogs, fishing and was a self-taught trapper.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Cloriece Teems.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Ann Teems; daughters, Terri (Peter) Teems and Sherri (Bill) McWhorter; stepson, Michael Strickland; grandchildren, Owen, Selah, Jarret Evan; sister, Brenda Robertson; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside Masonic service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, February 13th at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Reverend Jerry Stephens officiating.
