Victor Sanchez

Victor Manuel Sanchez, 45 passed away at his home, January 11, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Victor was happily employed at Mexi-Wing IV in Sweetwater. He loved to eat and spend time with his family, as he took his family each year to the beach, he enjoyed fishing with his son and taking care of his dog, Chocolate.

Preceded in death by one brother, Miguel Sanchez.

Survivors include his mother, Virginia Sanchez; father, Ramon Sanchez; wife of 20 years, Elitania Sanchez; children, Karla Sanchez, Jimena Sanchez, Victor Sanchez Jr., Tatiana Sanchez; brothers and sisters, Jesus Sanchez, Humbertino Sanchez, Jehu Sanchez, Ramon Sanchez, Angusto Sanchez, Luz Maria Sanchez, Tobias Sanchez, Mario Sanchez, Maria Eugenia Sanchez and Audias Sanchez and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1-7 p.m. Thursday, January 16th at Good Samaritan Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be at 12 p.m. Friday, January 17th at St. Mary Catholic Church, Athens with burial to follow at Hammonds Cemetery.
