Rebecca Porter

On July 25, 2022, Rebecca (Becky) Sue Gunter Porter, age 70 of Englewood, TN, was called home to join her parents Dewey and Lillian Gunter; daughter Angie Porter; brothers Leroy Gunter and Jackie Gunter; sisters Dorothy Faye Gunter, Mary Sue Land, and Margaret Hale, She was a valued employee of Starr Regional Medical Center and a member of Coghill Baptist Church.

Left behind to cherish her memories are daughter Carma Wazene Porter Stewart; surrogate daughter Becky Henderson; grandchildren Taqueila Porter Dodd and Terrance Stewart II, and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Paula (John) Guffey; brothers Tommy Gunter, Gary Gunter, David (Millie) Gunter, Ross Gunter, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, July 31st  followed by a memorial service at Good Samaritan Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Sliger officiating.
