Patrick Lynn Boyd

Patrick Lynn Boyd, a native of Niota, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 30th, 2023 at 4:36 p.m. Patrick was a member of Pond Hill Baptist Church, Niota, TN. He was an employee of Ironcraft in Decatur, TN.

Patrick loved his job, he loved farming, tractors and working in his garden. He loved his family and talking to people, especially about the Lord.

Patrick was the son of the late Jerry and Lana Duckett Boyd and grandson of Cotton and Betty Boyd and Clifford and Evelyn Duckett; Aunt Cathy Hashe.

He is survived by his two children, Mason Lynn Boyd and Emma Grace Boyd; the love of his life and Wife Jerrica Jean Turner Boyd

Other survivors include Aunt Margaret Duckett Trew, Uncle Roger Boyd, and Aunt Linda Burris; brother and sister in law Jonathan and Leslie Walden, as well as many cousins and countless friends.

Patrick never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 Wednesday, August 2nd at Good Samaritan Funeral Home, Athens with the funeral at 7.

Interment will be Thursday, August 3rd at 11 a.m. at Niota Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m. at the funeral home to proceed to Niota Cemetery.
