Patricia Brock

Patricia Diane Priest Brock was born on November 2, 1942, in Woodstock, Georgia, and passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 83, surrounded by her beloved family. Patricia lived a life rich in love, devotion, and service, spending over 40 years caring for the elderly. She witnessed  about Jesus Christ throughout her life by singing and witnessing to others. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Bill S. Brock, as well as her son, Gary Brock, her daughter, Lorraine Burris, and her sister, Doris Ruckner. Though she has departed from this life, her legacy of love and faith continues through her family.

She is survived by her sons, James (Kristie) Brock, Billy Shane (Angela) Brock, and Dale Brock, who cherish the memories and values she instilled in them. Patricia also leaves behind a vibrant family that includes 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Hoyle Priest. She was deeply blessed with the love and support of many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will miss her dearly.

A visitation will take place on January 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Good Samaritan Funeral Home in Athens, Tennessee. This will be followed by a funeral service, officiated by pastors, Van Elkins and James Morgan.

Patricia’s memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her compassionate care for others, and the warmth she brought into the lives of so many.
