Laura Louise Oliver Morrow, 93, of Madisonville, TN passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025.
Laura was born and lived most of her life in Riceville, TN. She was a member of Riceville First Baptist Church. A woman of strong faith, reading her bible and devotions daily. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Laura's hobbies included being an avid reader, playing scrabble and rarely losing, embroidery, working very difficult jigsaw puzzles, drinking coffee and watching UT men's basketball.
Preceded in death by her husband, Charles N. Morrow; son, Terry L. Morrow; parents, Clarence L. Oliver, Sr. and Rebecca Oliver; brothers, C.L. Oliver Jr., Kenneth Oliver and Philip Oliver; sisters, Virginia G. Oliver, Julia B. Torbett and Rebecca F. Oliver.
Survivors include her daughters, Charlene (Ronnie) Haynes of Old Hickory, TN, Anita (Jackie) Cook of Madisonville, TN, Teresa (Philip) Lashley of Sweetwater, TN, and Janet (Dickey) Walker of Athens, TN; grandchildren, Benjamin E. Haynes, Katy L. Owen, Bradley N. Haynes, McKenzie B. Lashley, Betsy Newberry, Brittany Lashley, Chloe R. Cate, William Cate and Heather Williams; great grandchildren, Chandler and Sully Owen, Cora Belle, Penelope, Goldie and Mari Anne Haynes, Gabriel Henry, Valorie Newberry, Keagan Elliott, Jones and Morrow Lashley; sisters, V. Ruth Morrison, Barbara M. Howard and Margaret J. Oliver; special niece, Frances Watson.
A celebration of life will be held at Fairview Baptist Tabernacle Church, Sweetwater, TN on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center.
