Gleda A. Mattson, passed away at her residence on June 20, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on July 16, 1937, in Athens, Tennessee, Gleda's life was characterized by her unwavering love for her family.
Preceded in death by her parents, C.E. and Eula Keaton and brother, Gary Keaton.
Gleda is survived by her two sons, Richard and Harold Mattson; grandchildren Emily and Jonathan Mattson; brother, Marlin Keaton and sister Evelyn Marsicek.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 24th from 5-7 P.M. at Good Samaritan Funeral Home with the funeral at 7 with Rev. Kelley Goins officiating.
Interment will be Wednesday, June 25th at 11 am at Hammonds Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to the Mattson Family to help cover final expenses.
