Enola Grace “Susie” Womac, 70 went to be with the Lord on Monday night July 8th.
Susie was a dedicated worker who enjoyed caring for others. In her early years she managed the family farm and later went on to earn her college degree in education.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Amos Patrick and Amanda Jane Sewell; grandparents, Gifford G. and Lida Enola Gunther Sewell; brothers, Benjamin Franklin Patrick, Ronald Patrick, George Amos “Buddy” Patrick, Woody Brank and Ronnie Smith.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years Charles Edward Womac; children, Suzanne (Mitchell) Edwards, Patricia Womac, and Randolph Scott Womac; grandchildren, Morgan and Hannah Fairbanks, Cooper and Shelby Edwards; siblings, Elizabeth Jean Stevens Richards (Stephen) Richards, Phillip Guy Patrick (Brenda) Patrick, Sheila Brank; brothers and sisters in law, William (Roberta) Womac, Dorothy (Norman) Teague, Frances (Will) Frady, Joyce Smith, Edith (Kenny) Perry, Libby Patrick and Wanda Patrick and numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2024, in the chapel of Good Samaritan Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Vest and Jacob Frady officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday prior to the service.
The family will assemble at the funeral home on Friday, July 12th at 10 a.m. then proceed to Womac Cemetery, Riceville for an 11 a.m. graveside.
In lieu of flowers Susie would have wanted memorial contributions to be made to the family of her beloved granddaughter Hannah Fairbanks to assist with her ongoing medical care.
