Derek Mizerak, 25 passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, at home.
Derek was a graduate of Senaca High School, Southampton, NJ, he recently moved to Etowah, TN. He enjoyed online gaming with friends, loved nature and had a newfound interest in exploring the East Tennessee Mountains. He had an interested in firearms and was looking forward to pursuing a career in gunsmithing.
Preceded in death his grandfather, John Sheely.
He is survived by his parents, Richard and Tara Mizerak; grandparents, Buddy and Karen Mizerak; grandmother, Joyce Sheely; brother, Damien Mizerak; uncles, Michael Sheely and John Mizerak, cousin, Macy Rose Mizerak.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2024, in the chapel of Good Samaritan Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday prior to the service.
