On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Clyde E. Ingram, 84, went on to his final resting place.  Those there on the other side to welcome Clyde home was his mother who passed from childbirth, Almer Allman Ingram; his paternal grandparents who raised him Ben and Adeline Ingram; his wife of 63 years Sylvia Jackson Ingram; an infant daughter Samantha Ingram; a daughter Shelia Ingram Price; and several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and in-laws whom he loved very much.

Clyde was born and raised in McMinn County .  He was a member of Valley Road Baptist Church and retired from 35 years of employment from Thomas & Betts.

Those left here to cherish his memories are a son, Clyde Randy Ingram of Athens (Kathy); daughter Tabitha Adeline (Chris) of Vale, NC; grandson Jacque (JR) Moss (Ashly) of Louisville , NE;  granddaughter Cheyenne Lail of Canton, NC; grandson  Taylor Layman of Athens; and a great-granddaughter Aurelia Moss of Louisville, NE; brother-ìn-law Rev. James (Linda) Jackson of Athens; sister-in-law Ellen Collins of KS;  sister-in-law Sandra Carden Jackson of Athens; sister-in-law Faye Wood of Decatur; sister-in-law Linda Frisby Jackson of Athens; sister-in-law Phyllis (Kenneth) Hale of Decatur; Brother-in-law Steve (Judy) Jackson  of Athens; brother-in-law Tony  (Linda) Jackson of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.

There are no services scheduled at this time.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Valley Road Baptist Church.  A special thank you for rising up and helping without question or falter goes to Steve & Judy Jackson.
