Chucky Charles Hammontree

Chucky Charles Hammontree, 73, of Greenback, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 11, 2025.

Born October 16, 1951, Chucky had a passion for the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish.

Chucky was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Hammontree; brother, Randy Hammontree; brother-in-law, Bill Raper.

Chucky is survived by his wife of 50 years, Johnnie "Joy" Hammontree; daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Williams; son, Brannon Hammontree and Becky Moneymaker. He was a proud grandfather to Kayleigh, Kennadi, Kobie, Kooper, Kolden and Kort Williams, Molly and Millie Hammontree, Morgan Ownby, Megan (Edmond) Peal and 4 great grandchildren; sister, Judy Raper; several nieces and nephews, numerous hunting and fishing buddies and kids he coached in youth sports.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 18th from 5 - 7 p.m. at Niles Ferry Baptist Church, 6895 US 411 S, Greenback, TN 37742 with a service to follow at 7 p.m.
