Carol Akin

Carol Jean Akin, 67, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 at her sister’s home in Niota.

Carol  loved caring for her pets and had a passion of sharing her faith with others around her. She was also very generous and loved to give gifts to her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Della Lingerfelt Monroe; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Junior Garren; brother, Lynn Monroe; and brother-in-law, Stanley Cansler

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Ruth Monroe; sister, Annette Cansler; sister-in-law, Carol L. Monroe; many nieces and nephews; special friend, David Naphas; and her coworkers at Coordinated Charities.

There will be no formal services at this time a graveside service will be planed at a later date.
