Bill Hatt

Clarence “Bill” William Hatt, 76, of Athens went to be with the Lord Friday, February 18th.

Bill was a native of Mount Pleasant, Michigan. He was a retired U.S. Navy Chief, with 26 ½ years of service. Bill was a jack of all trades and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He was a Born Again Christian and faithfully served at Ascension Life Church Athens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Florence Reed Hatt.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Hatt of 53 years. One son and daughter in-law, Joe and Nga Hatt; daughters, Rosemarie Hatt, Linda Kaye, Samantha Lynn, Lisa Anne, and Teresa May and husband Jak; grandchildren, Shay Nicole and husband Scot, Hali Louise, Colleen Rose, Jacob William, Leela Noelle, and Fianna Cassidy; great grandchildren, Adrian Michael and Taylor Nicole.
