Betty N. Lavergne, 86, of Athens, Tennessee, went home to be with her Savior on Monday, February 14th, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Joseph Lavergne; parents, Eula Glen and James Malone; mother and father-in-law, Lorenza Lavergne and Hermogene Lavergne.
She is survived by her son, Michael J. Lavergne of Athens; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer D. and Tracy D. Thurman of Athens; step granddaughter, Abby M. Thurman of Athens; brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Carolyn Malone of Athens; sisters and brothers-in-law; Bobbie and Ralph Gates and Jeanie Pryor and J.C. Mason.
A visitation will be held at Good Samaritan funeral home from 11:00-1:00 on Thursday, February 17th.
The service will follow at 1:00 with Toby Brodgen officiating.
A graveside service will follow at McMinn Memory Gardens.
